iMentor builds mentoring relationships that empower students from low-income communities to graduate high school, succeed in college, and achieve their ambitions. Their program builds authentic mentoring relationships in order to bring greater equity to our students’ educational journeys. Through these relationships, students increase their access to the knowledge, experiences, and resources required to succeed in college and adulthood.While their work supports all aspects of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), they commit a special focus to addressing the economic and racial divides that exists within the educational system and communities they serve. iMentor has served 33,035 students since 1999, in which 70% will be first-time generation graduates, 94% aspire to go to college and 90% of the students who applied are accepted.
